Republicans have a grand total of two House seats in all of New York and New England, down from 20 in 1994.

That’s not good.

  2. Not to mention the fact that the election of Chris Christie in NJ reminds me that the two most recent GOP Govs in the Garden state — Tom Kean and Christie Whitman — are probably considered anthema by the tea party crowd.
