And, yes Sarah Palin did support the TARP bailout.
These people walk among us, and they vote.
I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Sarah Palin supported it b/c the guy at the top of her ticket did, which kinda obligated her to do so. In interviews this week, IIRC, she has admitted that TARP was a mistake.

Doesn’t matter. She could have been a “maverick”, or a conservative. She chose neither. She even at times would use the fact that she disagreed with McCain on ANWR to show that she’s a self thinker.
Palin is a mess. So are her supporters.

Thank you for the compliment Jonathan. God forbid that I should support someone who believes in being strong, powerful and independent, instead of running down a thousand item tick list checking what items I agree and disagree on. I guess that’s what life is all about — a list?

Palin is an empty vessel being filled by the neoconservatives (war and empire) and the Christianist Right (domestic policy). With her rearing in end times prophecy from her pulpit (ala Rev Wright), she is their perfect candidate!

Well, “Let’s Be Free”, you can support someone who is strong, powerful, and independent -regardless of their policy- all you want. Your apparent candidate of choice has done little if nothing to show she actually wants to reduce the size or role of government.
This MSNBC clip is important, because it’s the first of its kind that I’ve seen that actually talks about Palin’s policies. It’s unfortunate they don’t want to confront someone more intelligent than a few unknowns standing in a line at a book store.
