This will be the only post of the day, and likely the last until sometime on Saturday or Sunday, so Happy Thanksgiving everyone. In case you’re interested, my wine recommendations from a few years ago still stand, so go out, buy some, and enjoy.
In the meantime, courtesy of one of my fellow Liberty Papers bloggers, here is a great post about the real story of Thanksgiving:
The real story of Thanksgiving is the triumph of capitalism and individualism over collectivism and socialism, which is the summation of the story of America. This is the real reason why leftists hate this day and seek to turn into a day-long Blame America fest. The Pilgrims are the historical reminder of the defeat of socialism, over 380 years before the fall of the Berlin Wall.

And I’d be remiss if I didn’t include what is clearly the best turkey pardon video ever:

Dude — do leftists really hate Thanksgiving? That sounds more like partisan hackery to me. You know like, ‘the Democrat party wants America to fail’.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! =)

Happy Thanksgiving! And here’s an instructional video for those who have made the recession one of their house guests:

The turkey pardons are a joke..
The President pardons one turkey then slaughters another one in it’s place..
I don’t know what the big deal is about Palin doing the interview in front of the turkey farm is.
Except that most people have little or no understanding about where their food comes from..
