When Abraham Lincoln was President, the White House was open to anyone who wanted to meet with the President and discuss whatever topic was important to them. No public matter was considered too mundane. Times have changed, of course, for understandable reasons, but I never thought I’d see the day when a Congressman called the cops on his constituents:
