Here’s the trailer for a movie that would probably be worth watching 10 Rules For Dealing With The Police:

The makers of the film participated in a forum at The Cato Institute last week that’s also worth watching:

More people need to understand what their rights are when confronted by a police officer and that, no, you don’t have to give them all the information they ask for:

Is there a place to download the Cato video?

  4. If you go to Cato’s Home Page and look in the Event archives, you’ll find a link for a download there, I beleive

Today, if you contact the cops to report a crime, or a potential problem, YOUR name is added to a list used for investigation. They sometimes will then use your name and address for exercise purposes where your name is used for practice raids. In a few cases, cops will mix-up their exercise data with real data and run real raids on your actual home.

In this increasingly Orwellian America, it is better to NEVER contact the cops about anything, lest YOU will become their target.

Since the Bush regime, cops in America are totally out of control. They got BILLIONS of dollars for so-called anti-terrorism toys, that they immediately turned against US.

So now, we have a whole new generation of cops who think they are Jack Bauer Jr. and can do anything, without being held accountable.

Political leaders have been slow to reign-in the over reaching police agencies, so we now have what is approaching an East German police state with everyone under surveillance and an actual army of snitches with informants in every town, and infiltrating any group targeted as patriotic or libertarian oriented.

IRS agents, and Cops are two groups that nobody should ever talk to. No, not ever!

Well…… where I live it’s pretty small-towny. The cops are pretty laid back and are kept on a relatively tight leash, because everyone in town knows a selectman or the chief. If they taze someone, it’s virtually always near the end of a dangerous struggle.
Probably not the same in the big cities.
