Democratic Congressman: I Don’t Worry About The Constitution

Ladies and Gentleman, Congressman Phil Hare (D., Il)

And, just for reference, here’s the oath that Congressman Hare took in January 2009:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

I guess he doesn’t worry about his oath either.

    Figures this guy’s from Illinois, doesn’t it?

    He needs to be voted out as soon as possible. If I lived in Illinois, I’d be circulating a recall petition based just on this clip. I realize that the interviewer was pushing to get that money sound bite, but he still said it just the same.
