I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Eric Cantor Joins The Anti-Mosque Hysteria

I haven’t been a fan of Eric Cantor since he joined John Boehner in pushing through the “crap sandwich” known as TARP, so this just confirms my opinion of him:

Everybody knows America’s built on the rights of free expression, the rights to practice your faith, but come on.

Yea, come on. After all, it’s just a piece of paper.

  1. Brian says:

I’m not crazy about TARP, but it was almost assuredly better than letting AIG and Citigroup go under.

That said, Cantor often strikes me as in a bit over his head. This mosque nonsense should be much more embarrassing to it’s proponents than it is.

  2. The craziness reached a new level when Obama injected himself into the discussion. I distinctively non-presidential, unAmerican thing to do. But,not surprisingly, he again sucks up to the Muslim world to the detriment of the families of the 9/11 victims.
