Below The Beltway

I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Thanks to a spike in traffic, and what can only be called growing pains here at Below The Beltway, we were pretty much down for several hours today.
Apologies.

Design Flaw

by @ Thursday, April 1st, 2010. Filed under Blogging, News About The Site

In the middle of doing some theme editing last night, I made a change that removed the template code that displays the post title at the top of the post, instead you’ll now see it at the top of your browser.
I’m actually in the middle of a theme change which should be done this [...]

Technical Difficulties

by @ Thursday, March 25th, 2010. Filed under Blogging, News About The Site

It looks like we continued to have server issues last night and into this morning so the site has either been slow, or just non-existent for many people.
We are back now, but there still may be stability issues so be patient.

My apologies to the 3 or 4 of you [...]

This will be the only post of the day, and likely the last until sometime on Saturday or Sunday, so Happy Thanksgiving everyone. In case you’re interested, my wine recommendations from a few years ago still stand, so go out, buy some, and enjoy.
In the meantime, courtesy of one of my fellow Liberty Papers bloggers, [...]

On November 16th, the national debt for our nation broke the $12 trillion dollar mark.  Jason, Brett and Doug had joked on Twitter about getting together to “celebrate” this accomplishment by having a few drinks.  Since geography prevented us from meeting together in a physical location, we [...]
