In addition to yet another Sarah Palin skit, last weekend’s Saturday Night Live also took on the recently passed bailout package:

by @ Sunday, September 28th, 2008. Filed under 2008 Election, Barack Obama, Humor, John McCain, Politics

Taking their cue no doubt from John McCain, the New York Yankees have made the ultimate sacrifice:
The Yankees announced yesterday that they were suspending their campaign for the American League pennant due to the dire state of the economy. “This is not the time for partisan attempts to win baseball games,” said Hank Steinbrenner. “I [...]

Coming To An E-Mail InBox Near You

by @ Thursday, September 25th, 2008. Filed under Economics, Humor

When you think about it, it’s sort of inevitable:
Dear sir or madam,
I must need to ask your support an urgent secret business relationship concerning transfer of funds with great magnitude.
I am being the Ministry of the Treasury of the Republic of America. My country has had recent crisis urgently requiring the need for large transfer [...]

SNL Does Palin And Hillary

by @ Sunday, September 14th, 2008. Filed under 2008 Election, Hillary Clinton, Humor, Politics, Sarah Palin

SNL may not be funny anymore, but it had it’s moments during the Obama/Clinton primary and it looks like we’ll be in for some of the same over the next six weeks:
