Still recovering from Thanksgiving, but regular blogging should resume momentarily.
I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Still recovering from Thanksgiving, but regular blogging should resume momentarily.
We’ve got family coming into town for the holiday, so there won’t be any blogging here until sometime this weekend.
If you’re looking for something to read, head on over to The Liberty Papers, where we’re celebrating the beginning of our third year.
Enjoy the holiday.
Here’s hoping that 2007 brings a better world than the one we’re living in right now.
Actually, 2006 was a pretty good year for me and I’m looking forward to the new year. Sorry for that dose of pessimism. Last night, Kellie and I rang out the New Year with a great dinner at what has [...]

One of the most successful duets in Christmas music history — and surely the weirdest — might never have happened if it weren’t for some last-minute musical surgery. David Bowie thought “The Little Drummer Boy” was all wrong for him. [...]
Growing up in the New York City area, I was exposed every year to what I am convinced is the strangest Christmas custom followed by a television station, the Yule Log. For 24 hours starting on Christmas Eve, WPIX-TV would broadcast nothing but a picture of a burning fire with Christmas music in the background. [...]
Last night was the first night of Hanukkah, and I feel I would be remiss without posting something.
So, Happy Hanukkah and enjoy this little ditty:
