Well, I must say that this is very interesting news.
Apparently, CBS is talking to Comcast about a deal that could save Jericho similar to the one that NBC struck with DirectTV to save Friday Night Lights:

I was skeptical when the tried it before, but I’m not saying anything negative this time.

There are plenty of theories out there trying to explain what went wrong with Jericho.
Thomas Connor at the Chicago Sun Times thinks that Jericho lost steam because Season Two lost focus of what made the show good:
